Ballistics Evidence Found

04/08/2013 – At about 1 a.m., officers responded to Dunstable Street for a report of shots fired call.

At that time, police were unable to locate any evidence, but the following morning, a witness reported finding a shell casing. Officers canvassed the area and found one more casing. Area A-1 detectives were scheduled to review a videotape of the area.

OUI

04/08/13 – As a result of a traffic stop on Rutherford Avenue, an individual was placed under arrest and charged with operating under the influence.

Robbery – Attempt

04/08/2013 – A pizza deliveryman reported after leaving a delivery on O’Reilly Way, three white males approached him and tried to rob him. The victim fled the area without being robbed.

A search of the area for the suspects was to no avail.

Attempted Breaking and Entering

04/10/13 – A victim on Dunstable Street reported at about 7 p.m., she entered her home and saw a male crouching outside the glass sliding door in the rear of her home. Her dogs began barking, causing the suspect to flee in the direction of Main Street. No entry was made to the home, but the screen to the rear door had been cut.

Detectives are investigating.

Possession of Firearm and Drugs

04/12/13 – As a result of an ongoing drug investigation in the Bunker Hill housing development, a search warrant was executed on O’Reilly Way.

Three individuals were placed under arrest, and various narcotics and a black 9mm handgun with ammunition were seized. During the same investigation, two more people were taken into custody charged with possession of a Class B substance (cocaine) with intent to distribute.

Larceny

04/14/13 – A victim reports while she was seated on Main Street on a bench having coffee, a white male suspect wearing dark clothing walked by, took her handbag and continued down Main Street towards Green Street. A witness gave chase, but lost sight of the suspect in the area of Warren Street.
