Sick/Injured Person
02/26/13 – At about 3 p.m., officers responded to the Charlestown Navy Yard for a report of a building fire/explosion. Upon arrival, a Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) operations supervisor informed police there was in fact no explosion or fire. Officers were informed that a graduate student was conducting an experiment in a lab when the chemicals he was working with caused the vessel to shatter, sending shards of glass into the victim’s arm. The victim was transported to MGH for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

02/27/13 – As a result of an investigation on Medford Street, an individual was issued a city ordinance citation charging possession of less than one ounce of marijuana.
