Meeting on Spaulding Mitigation Set for Monday

The Charlestown Neighborhood Council and CNC Development Committee will be hosting a meeting on February 25th at 7 pm at the Spaulding Hospital on 16th Street, to discuss the Spaulding transportation plans for the parking and shuttle service for patients and employees accessing the new hospital site. As part of the Development Review process Spaulding committed to presenting a comprehensive transportation plan to the community prior to commencing operations in the new facility. Further, as part of the development approval process Spaulding committed to returning to the community to present a proposed contribution to the Charlestown Mitigation fund and Community Benefits programs in Charlestown. Representatives of Spaulding Hospital will provide information related to these issues at the February 25 meeting. Residents of Charlestown are encouraged to attend.

Spaulding Facility Tour February 25th at 6 pm.

Representatives of Spaulding Hospital will provide a tour through the new facility for anyone interested, prior to starting the community meeting at 7 pm. Please meet in the lobby of the Spaulding Building promptly at 6 pm if you are interested in taking the tour.
