Nothing being done during the summer in this neighborhood to create the essence of a true community feeling goes beyond the great effort managing Movie Nights by Charlestown Against Drugs.
The popular outdoor movie venue has attracted large neighborhood people and their families to a series of outdoor movies in the Charlestown’s various parks.
Recently, Racing Stripes was shown at Doherty Playground; Madagascar was shown at St. Catherine’s Church, and on August 9, Stuart Little will be shown at the Training Field.
These movie evenings sponsored by CHAD also offer Hot Dog nights and Pop Corn nights as no movie is right without those items.
CHAD is to be congratulated for the movie offerings and for making the warmer evenings under the sky in this neighborhood such a treat for so many of Charlestown’s residents.
