Richard S. “Richie” O’Brien of Charlestown died on October 29. He was 61 years old.
The former owner of Bunker Hill Insurance Agency, he was a member of the Old Charlestown Schoolboys Association, the Bunker Hill Council #62, K of C. and was an usher at St. Francis De Sales Church
He was the beloved husband of the late Sheila (Bird) O’Brien; devoted father of Kaylee O’Brien and Richard Evers, both of Charlestown; loving grandfather of Joseph S. Brown; beloved brother of Betty Magistro and her husband, Sal of New Hampshire, Mary Rose Landolfi and her husband, Paul of Brockton and Patricia O’Brien of North Carolina; loving uncle of several nieces and nephews.

Vincenzo C. Iapicca of Charlestown, formerly of Orient Heights East Boston and Mirabella Avelino, Italy, died on October 28.
He was the cherished son of the late Rocco and Linda (Capodanno) Iapicca; loving father of Linda Iapicca of East Boston; dear brother of Bernadina Scippa of South Yarmouth, Amalina Scippa of Revere, Rocco Iapicca of Reading and Pasquale Iapicca of Peabody and also leaves many nieces and nephews.

Earl D. Sherman of Charlestown died suddenly on October 27. He was the beloved son of the late Harry and Beatrice (Boullais) Sherman; brother of James Sherman and his wife, Katie of Everett, Richard Sherman and his wife, Karen of Pittsfield and the late Roger and Beatrice Sherman; uncle of Scott Sherman of Adams.
Burial was in Park Lawn Cemetery in Bennington, Vermont.

Josephine A. (Pizzano) Hardin, a lifelong resident of Boston’s North End, died on October 26. She was 85 years old.
She was the beloved daughter of the late Angelina (Bravacco) and Domenic Pizzano; cherished mother of Yolanda Hardin of Boston, Lillie Kunkel and her husband, Brad of Key Largo, Florida, and the late James Hardin; loving grandmother of Dannielle Wright of Atlanta, GA, Mark Hardin and his wife, Richelle of Dover, Jason Hardin and his companion, January Taylor of Malden, James Hardin of Boston, Shelly Oerman of York, PA, and the late Christopher Hardin; great grandmother of four. She was the caring sister of Camille Lucci of Medford and her late husband, Anthony, Phyllis Buccieri of Charlestown, Mary Sambucco and her husband, Frank of N. Andover and Yolanda Musto and her husband, Pat of Woburn. She is also survived by many loving nephews and nieces.
