Rose M. Perotti

Lifelong Charlestown resident

Rose M. Perrotti died on June 5, she was 84 years old.

She was the loving  sister-in-law of Josephine Perrotti, sister of the late Concetta Gray, Jaffrey Perrotti Sr. and Eleanor Micarone.

She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Cecelia Edwards, Ralph Gray, Roseann Guarino, Victor Micarone, Ralph Perrotti, Jaffrey Perrotti Jr. and Eda Perrotti.

Relatives and friends invited, visiting hours Thursday June 9, from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m. at the Murphy & Turnbull Funeral Home, 322 Bunker Hill Street, Charlestown, MA, 02129 with a Funeral Service in the Funeral Home at 10 a.m.

Memorials in Rose’s name may be made to the Animal Rescue League, 10 Chandler St,, Boston, MA 02116-5221.

Interment will be Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.

Anna Creeden

Watertown Arsenal retiree

Anna E. (Dancewicz) Creeden of Chelsea died on June 4. She was 91 years old.

A retired Senior Clerk for the Watertown Arsenal, she was a former member of the PAV in Chelsea and a 57 year member of the Our Lady of Grace Church in Chelsea.

She was the devoted wife of the late Joseph A. “Ike” Creeden; beloved mother of Dr. Robert A. Creeden and his wife, Charlene M., of Dennis and Paul J. Creeden and his life partner, Peter L. Petraitis, of Charlestown; daughter of the late Alexander and Martha (Rosko) Dancewicz; sister of the late John S. Dancewicz and Helen Evans and is also lovingly survived by three grandchildren, Kathleen M. Creeden of New York City, Kevin J. Creeden and his wife, Beth, of Rhode Island and Colleen Creeden-Siddig and her husband, Mahmoud, of Hong Kong and two great-grandchildren, Summer and Kate Creeden, both of Rhode Island.

Funeral arrangements were by the William R. Carafa & Son Home for Funerals, Chelsea. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett.

Winifred McLaughlin

Of New Hampshire, formerly of Charlestown

Winifred B. (Sheridan) McLaughlin of Manchester, NH, formerly of Charlestown, died on May 28.

She was the beloved wife of the late William “Steve” McLaughlin; devoted mother of Dr. Susan Dole of Somerville, Kathleen Kennedy of Derry, N.H. and Nancy Messinger and her husband, Mark, of Manchester, N.H.;  Nana to seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

A Funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Mary’s Church, Charlestown. Burial was in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.

Marie ‘Ginger’ Murphy

Maine resident

Marie V. “Ginger” (Gauthier) Murphy of Ogunquit ME, formerly of Wilmington, raised in Charlestown, died peacefully on June 2. She was 79 years old.

She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph E. “Spud” Murphy; devoted mother of Patricia M. Irwin and her husband, David, of Essex, Joseph E. Murphy and his wife, Cathy, of State College, PA, John P. Murphy and his wife, Linda, of Georgetown; loving “Nana” of Craig, Laura, Tom and Hayley Irwin, Joseph, Brian, and Sam Murphy, Paige and Neil Murphy; cherished daughter of the late Lester and Mary (MacDonald) Gauthier; dear sister of the late Frank Gauthier and Helen “Marcy” Gauthier.

Alice Gill

Former Charlestown resident

Alice M. (Flynn) Gill of Bridgewater, formerly of Brockton and Charlestown, died May 31. She was 93 years old.

She was the adored wife of the late Michael Gill; the beloved mother of Michele Hughes of Bridgewater; the loving grandmother of Michael Hughes and his wife Jennifer of Ayer, Kathryn Cifuni and her husband Eric of Raynham and Stephen Hughes of Bridgewater; the caring sister of Barbara Kane of Woburn and the late Margaret Carlin, Ruth Ahern and Paul Flynn and the much-loved aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Waitt Funeral Home, Brockton. Burial was at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Pepperell. Memorial gifts may be made to Massachusetts Nurses Association, Attn: Cindy Nessia 340 Turnpike Street, Canton, MA 02021.

Priscilla Walsh

Canton resident

Priscilla M. (Fitzgerald) Walsh, a resident of Canton for more than 30 years, died unexpectedly May 26 in Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston. She was 69 years old.

She worked for over 15 years as an accountant for the Stivaletta Construction Company in Canton. She was an active member and Eucharistic Minister in St. Gerard Majella Church in Canton. She, along with her husband, was also a proud baseball coach for several years for the Canton Little League.

She was the devoted wife of Robert P. Walsh of Canton; loving mother of Timothy F. Walsh of Charlestown; loving sister of Malcolm Fitzgerald Jr. of Salem NH, and the late Virginia Keaney and the late Nancy Devine. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Charlestown resident

Martha L. (Boudreau) Prince of Charlestown died on May 29. She was 88 years old.

She was the beloved wife of the late William J. Prince; devoted mother of Bruce Prince of Lawrence, Priscilla Nee and her husband, Donald, of Tallahassee, Fla., William J. Prince Jr. and his wife, Donna, of Wilmington and the late Elizabeth A. “Betty” Sweeney; loving grandmother of 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
