02/07/11 – Arson
Officers responded to a report of a fire on Medford Street. Residents were evacuated out of the building and as a result of an investigation at the scene, three individuals were placed under arrest and charged with arson.
02/07/11 – Trespassing
As a result of a radio call to Eighth Street to investigate trespassers, officers placed three people under arrest for breaking and entering and trespassing. One of the individuals also had an outstanding warrant charging assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
02/07/11 – Larceny in a Building
According to residents of Medford Street, after the fire and before they were allowed to go back to their apartments, unknown person(s) entered several of the units and removed various pieces of electronic equipment. Detectives will investigate.
02/08/11 – Warrant Arrest
Officers in city square placed an individual under arrest for an outstanding Eastern Hampshire court warrant charging possession of drugs as well as carrying a firearm without a license.
02/08/11 – Larceny in a Building
A victim on Third Avenue reported that someone broke into her locker at the gym and stole her property. Further investigation revealed that one of the victims’ credit cards had been used in a store in East Boston. Video has been obtained and detectives are investigating.
02/11/11 – Breaking and Entering, Residence
Victim on High Street reported that, upon returning home, she observed the front door window broken as well as her apartment door ajar. The victim inventoried the apartment and saw that her DVD player was the only item missing.
