Police Blotter 12-23-2010

12/13/10 – Investigate Property

A concerned citizen on Main Street reported to officers that he had observed two men loading scrap metal onto a truck that was parked near the Alford Street Bridge. When the suspects realized the police had been called they fled into Everett where they abandoned the vehicle and its contents.

12/14/10 – Warrant Arrest

Officers on Bunker Hill Street placed an individual under arrest for an outstanding Chelsea District Court warrant charging stolen motor vehicle.

12/14/10 – Investigate Person

Victims on Lexington Street reported that, while waiting for a bus, they were approached from behind by three males, one of whom brandished a gun. According to the victims the suspects saw a police car in the area and fled into the Bunker Hill Housing Development. A search of the area for suspects was made to no avail

12/14/10 – Service To Other Department

As a result of an investigation on Carney Court by the Department of Homeland Security, Customs Enforcement, and local police department a suspect was taken into custody on a Homeland Security warrant.

12/15/10 Robbery, Firearm

A victim reported that, while walking down Bunker Hill Street, he was grabbed from behind by two males who brandished both a gun and a knife. The suspects then took the victim’s property and fled into the Bunker Hill Housing Development.

12/16/10 – Robbery, Unarmed

A victim walked into the Charlestown station to report that the night before, while walking near School and Main streets, two suspects wearing ski masks ran up behind her and stole her purse.

12/17/10 – Drugs

As a result of a drug investigation in the area of Bunker Hill Street, an individual was issued a citation for possession of marijuana.

12/18/10 – Breaking and Entering, Residence

Officers responded to City Square for a breaking and entering report they were informed by the business owner that two men broke in by prying the front door open. Once inside they damaged the cash drawers. At this time it appears nothing was taken. Detectives are investigating.
