James McCormack Scholarship
To the Editor,
I wish to thank the Mark and Michelle Gorman Scholarship Fund Committee for the generous 2020 James McCormack Scholarship award. It is an honor for me to be the first recipient of the James McCormack Scholarship because I know how well loved Jimmy was by his family and friends. Mark and Michelle’s memory have made it possible for so many Charlestown young people to enhance and complete their educations and it is a tribute to how loved they were that this legacy continues. This scholarship will greatly assist me as I continue my studies in my junior year at Catholic Memorial High School.
