Dear community and

 service providers,

My name is Tiara Murphy and I am the president of the Charlestown Resident Alliance, located at 76 Monument St.

The Charlestown Resident Alliance advocates for over 1,100 families living on the Boston Housing Authority Bunker Hill Development.

It is with great appreciation from the CRA that we can come together once again and provide vital resources to all families of Charlestown. It takes a village to not only raise a child, but to raise a community and together, this is where we can continue. We have decided to rename Unity Day. Our new name will be Family Day. The CRA is in the process of finalizing plans for our Family Day event and ask that you join us for our “Back To School end of summer bash” being held on Aug. 25 from 12-4 p.m. Tables are limited. We are asking if you could bring your own table. It would be a great help. Please R.S.V.P. by Aug. 9. If you should have any questions, or cannot bring a table, please reach out.

Finally, we are in need of donations such as, backpacks, notebooks, pencils, glue sticks, crayons, calculators, uniforms, face/nail painting, hats, and gloves. If you are willing to help, please email [email protected].
