NICE DEBUT
In addition to being among the rookie scoring leaders in the ECHL, Manchester wing Mike Doherty (20 goals, 24 assists) finished second on his team with 187 shots on net. Mike’s efforts resulted in his selection as the Monarchs 2018 Unsung Hero Award recipient. A “Townie” gym hockey alum (along with Jim Vesey, Matt Grzelcyk, Aaron Titcomb, Brendan Collier and so many talented others), Mike has certainly come a long way from the St. Mary’s Parish Hall arena.
