Dear Editor:
I would like to thank the members of the Abraham Lincoln Post #11 for their generosity in the presentation of a scholarship to me at their November 7, 2017 dinner. This scholarship will help to defray the costs of my education at Catholic Memorial School in West Roxbury. I am especially honored that I was able to apply for the scholarship in memory of my grandfather, Leo C Boucher Sr. USMC Korea. Although I never met my grandfather I am honored to carry his family name and am grateful to him and all those from Charlestown who served our nation.
