We want to wish our friends in the Jewish community a Happy Passover or Happy “Pesach” as this important holiday is known in Hebrew.
The holiday begins with a special Passover dinner known as a Seder when the story is retold about Passover and includes the recitation of the “Four Questions” by the youngest guest at the dinner.
The eight-day festival of Passover commemorates the liberation of the Jewish people from slavery in ancient Egypt.
The week of Passover is one of the major observances of the year in the Jewish community. It is time of reflection and a time of continuing optimism for peace and prosperity worldwide.
Happy Passover and may we note that Mother Nature has ushered in the holiday with two of the most pleasant days of the spring season so far.
