Schrafft’s Signs to be Replaced This Month

By Seth Daniel

Many have noted over the past week the fact that the iconic Schrafft’s illuminated sign at Sullivan Square went dark.

Bill Bush of the Flatley Company told  the Patriot Bridge that the sign going dark is just temporary.

He said the existing signs were getting old and needing replacing, so the company opted to replace them with more  efficient lighting.

The new signs will look the same, but will be LED lights instead of neon lighting.

The project is expected to take one month, Bush said.
