BMC HealthNet Donates Food to Harvest on Vine

BMC HealthNet Plan donated more than 300 pounds of non-perishable food to the Harvest on the Vine Food Pantry. Harvest on Vine is dedicated to helping struggling members of the Charlestown community by providing food distribution two times a month. The pantry, established by Saint Mary – Saint Catherine of Siena Parish, serves approximately 500 people each month regardless of religious affiliation. BMC HealthNet Plan donated a variety of food items including rice, soup, peanut butter and oatmeal.

BMC HealthNet Plan, a nonprofit health plan committed to providing high quality health care to underserved populations, held the food drive as the first of many outreach initiatives planned in the Charlestown community. In November, BMC HealthNet Plan is moving to the Schraffts Center in Charlestown. For more information about Harvest on Vine please visit http://stmarystcatherine.org/harvest-on-vine/food-pantry/
