09/29/15 – As a result of a drug investigation in the area of Main Street, an individual was placed under arrest for possession of a Class B substance.

Drugs

09/30/15 – As a result of a drug investigation in the area of Main and Austin streets, an individual was placed under arrest for possession of a Class C substance.

Assault and Battery

10/02/15 – A victim reported as a result of a traffic accident on the North Washington Street Bridge, he became involved in an altercation with the operator of the other vehicle, at which time that driver approached him and started a “scuffle.”

The matter is under investigation, although the victim said he did not wish to press charges at that time.

Breaking and Entering

10/02/15 – A victim on Main Street reported someone broke into the common area of the parking garage and stole golf clubs and other sporting equipment. Detectives are investigating.

Robbery – Bank

10//03/15 – Officers responded to Rutherford Avenue for a hold-up alarm.

Upon arrival, bank employees informed police that a white male wearing a yellow raincoat had approached a teller window, stated he had a gun and demanded money. The suspect then fled inn the direction of the Mishawum housing development.

As a result of the subsequent investigation, the suspect was located and placed under arrest.

Larceny – Bike

10/03/15 – A victim on Old Rutherford Avenue reported that someone took his black 18-speed Huffy bike from his yard. The rear door leading to the yard was found to be ajar.
