In recognition that the Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital (SRH) construction process and its future operations have had, and will continue to have, an impact on the Charlestown community, Spaulding is pleased to continue its longstanding commitment to the Charlestown community.
Spaulding, through collaboration with the Charlestown Neighborhood Council (CNC) and the Department of Public Health, is in the beginning stages of designing a Community Partnership Funds process that will run for the next five years. It is anticipated that up to $100,000 will be awarded annually to local Charlestown organizations.
As this is a community based initiative, any interested parties are invited to assist in the development of this new process. Meetings will be held on September 18, 2014 and October 2, 2014 at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, 300 First Avenue, Charlestown, MA. From 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
