Letters To The Editor

Thank you Judy

Dear Editor:

I would like to express my sincere appreciation to Judy Cleveland and the Micah Young Scholarship committee for selecting me as this year’s recipient.  Because of the generosity of Judy and her family, I am able to continue my studies in both biology and art at Westfield St. University. In honoring Micah’s memory, I better understand the “Townie” meaning of “giving back” to the community.  Again, thanks so very, very much.

Thank you so much!!

Dear Editor:

My family would like to say thank you to all who came out and supported us at our fundraiser on Jun 27, 2014. We also would like to thank those who were not able to attend but still sent their support. Your generosity has been overwhelming and appreciated. You all have helped our family in so many different ways. Our hearts are so warm with all the amazing support and donations. You all will be in our hearts forever and we wish we could thank you all one by one. So thank you so much everyone, Love the Dagle’s

“Even though we’ve changed and we’re all finding our own place in the world, we all know that when the tears fall or the smile spreads across our face, we’ll come to each other because no matter where this crazy world takes us, nothing will ever change so much to the point where we will always be townies.”

Harvest on Vine thanks Jenny’s Pizza

Dear Editor:

Harvest on Vine emergency food pantry thanks Sue and Joey Lacey (Joe of Jenny’s Pizza) for donating back-to-school knapsacks filled with pens, pencil, crayons, notebooks, folders, calculators, and more. The knapsacks were distributed to needy Charlestown students, giving them a snappy and practical gift to start the school year.

Thank you,

 Joey and Sue
