The Warren-Prescott and Principal Michel Davis was honored in welcoming Mayor Marty Walsh last Friday along with Senator Sal DiDomenico and City Councilor Sal LaMattina. The Mayor met with the Warren-Prescott Student Council and toured several classrooms including reading a Valentine’s Day story in Ms. Mathew’s 2nd grade class. During the tour, the Mayor got a chance to learn about Warren-Prescott’s rigorous curriculum from BPS Network Superintendent Margarita Ruiz and met with several parents from its School Site Council. In addition, Principal Davis had a chance to comment on Warren-Prescott’s new computer labs (funded by parental support) and its ongoing space constraints. The tour ended with the Mayor listening to Ms. Thompson’s music class and being presented a Warren-Prescott vest and becoming an Honorary member of the Warren-Prescott Community.
