Vandalism

12/27/13 – A Chestnut Street resident reported a group of youths passing by his home smashed the glass globe of a gas streetlight in front of that address. No description of the vandals was available.

Breaking and Entering– Residence-Day

12/27/13 – A victim on Perkins Street reported upon returning home, he saw that the rear door to his home was ajar and a black gym bag was in the rear yard. The victim also noticed a jar containing change and a bracelet were missing from the home. At that time, no signs of forced entry could be found. Detectives are investigating.

Investigate Property

12/28/13 – At about midnight, officers responded to Tufts Street for a report of shots fired. The caller reported hearing between eight and 15 shots discharged in two separate volleys. A search of the area for victims, suspects or ballistic evidence was made without result.

Larceny in a Building

12/28/13 – A victim on Salem Street reported that between 11 p.m. on Dec. 27 and 1 a.m. on Dec. 28, someone removed two bikes from inside the front hallway of his home. The bikes are described as a gold-frame Yukon with a blue front fork and a red Schwinn.
