Joey and Charlotte Lacey presented Tom MacDonald, Director of Charlestown’s Harvest on the Vine, along with team members Judy Burton and Mary Walsh over 30 backpacks filled with school supplies to be distributed to children in need in Charlestown.
This is the fifth year of the Jenny’s backpack program. “We want all children to be able to start the school year with the school supplies they need” explained Joey Lacey, owner of Jenny’s. Tom, Judy and Mary graciously accepted the backpacks and said “It is refreshing to know that the Lacey family are looking out for children that will be able to start the school year off on the same footing as their fellow classmates.” Charlotte Lacey enjoyed packing up all the school supplies in each and everyone of the backpacks for the children.
