Larceny – Bicycle

08/08/13 – A victim on Brighton Street reported someone stole his blue Diamond mountain bike from the garage in his building. It appears bolt cutters were used to snap the lock, police said.

Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon 

08/10/13 – A victim on Bunker Hill Street reported at about 1a.m., six black males banged on his door.

When he let them in, they smashed his coffee table. The victim then fled the apartment and was chased by three of the suspects, one of whom struck him several times with a bat. The victim was able to deflect the blows, however.

The victim was uncooperative with officers and not forthcoming with information about what happened. He declined medical attention.

Assault with a Dangerous Weapon

08/11/13 – As a result of a radio call at 4 a.m. for a group causing a disturbance on O’Meara Court, an individual was placed under arrest for assault with a dangerous weapon, being a disorderly person and resisting arrest.

08/10/13 – At about 11 p.m., officers responded to a call for a fight on Tibbetstown Way. Police spoke to they victim who stated one of the people across the street had thrown a flowerpot at her, striking her in the eye.

As a result of the subsequent investigation, the suspect was located and placed under arrest. Officers were also informed there have been ongoing disputes between the parties involved.
