04/29/13 – At about 9 a.m., officers responded to Park Street for a call stating a person had cut down a tree in the park. The anonymous caller stated that he saw a person cut down a tree before leaving in a red truck. The caller provided the truck’s plate number to police. Detectives are investigating the matter.

Drugs

04/29/13 – As a result of a drug investigation in the Austin Street area, an individual was placed under arrest and charged with possession of Class D (marijuana) and Class C (pills) drugs with intent to distribute.

Drugs

04/29/13 – As a result of a drug investigation in the area of Old Landing Way, a suspect was placed under arrest and charged with possession of a Class B drug with intent to distribute. Two other individuals were present at the time of the suspect’s arrest and will be summonsed into court.

Larceny

05/03/13 – A victim on Monument Street reported unknown person(s) removed a package containing about $600 worth of cosmetics from in front of her apartment door. The package had been delivered and left there by Federal Express.

Breaking and Entering – Non-Residence – No Force

05/05/13 – While conducting an investigation in the area of Spice and Cambridge streets, officers observed a suspect enter one of their unmarked vehicles and begin to rummage around the interior. The officers approached the suspect and, after a brief struggle, took him into custody. Drugs (pills) were also found on the suspect, who will be charged accordingly.
