Henry ‘Billy’ Keating, Jr.

Henry W. “Billy” Keating, Jr. of Charlestown died on April 14.
A US Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War, he was the father of Billy of Brighton and Maureen of Winthrop; son of the late Henry William, Sr. and Lillian (Campbell); brother of James “Buddy” of Andover, Mary Jo, Tommy and Donny, all of Charlestown and Patricia Machado of Everett and is also survived by one granddaughter, Rachel Farley and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Of West Roxbury, formerly of Charlestown
Lillian T. MacAlpine of West Roxbury, formerly of Charlestown, died on April 17.
A member of the Gardens for Charlestown and Friends of the Doherty Park, she was the wife of the late Lt. Col. James G. MacAlpine, Jr.; the loving daughter of the late David and Katherine (O’Donnell) Labadie; mother of Bruce J. MacAlpine of Ohio, Heath R. MacAlpine and his wife, Joyce of Ohio, William A. MacAlpine and his partner, Linda of California, Catherine E. MacAlpine of Boston and Christopher J. MacAlpine and his partner, Mary of Boston; sister of Margaret Hall of Ashland, John Labadie and his wife, Marilyn of Vermont and the late David Labadie, Jr., George Labadie and Virginia Pomarico and the loving grandmother of Amanda, Agatha, Matthew and Steven MacAlpine. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
