Robert ‘Bobby” Belyea, Jr. of Charlestown died suddenly on January 13. He was 44 years old.

He was the beloved son of Phyllis M. “Chickie” (Hazelton) Belyea of Charlestown and Robert E. Belyea; devoted brother of Paula, Carol and Sharon Belyea, all of Charlestown; loving uncle of three nieces, four nephews and one great-niece and the beloved grandson of the late Ethel and Charles Hazelton.

Elizabeth ‘Libby’ Valeri

Elizabeth “Libby” (Chapman) Valeri of Charlestown, formerly of Everett, died on January 14.

The beloved wife of the late Alfonso, she was the mother of Susan Chotkowski and her husband, Stephen P. of East Falmouth and Ken Bombaci and his wife, Judy of Boylston; sister of the late Lillian Hanson and is also survived by four grandchildren, Christofer Chotkowski of Dracut, Michael Chotkowski of Belchertown, Matthew Bombaci of Billerica, Kimberly Yanka of Worcester and two great grandchildren, Harper and Emersyn.

George M., Collier died suddenly on January 22, 2012.

He was the beloved son of the late Joseph and Mary A. (Losier) Collier.

Father of Ricky Collier of Everett, Harold Collier, Michael Collier, Georginne Colletti all of CA., Marshall Collier of WA.

Brother of John F. Collier of NC., Robert Collier of Charlestown, and the late Auriette Seiwert, and Joseph Collier.

Dear friend of Christine O’Connor of Somerville.

Michael Donahue Callahan

Of Tewksbury, formerly of Charlestown

Michael Timothy Donahue Callahan of Tewksbury, formerly Charlestown, died on January 18.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Angela T. (Walsh) Callahan; three sons; Michael Callahan and his partner, Patricia Lamirande of Lowell, Timothy Callahan and his wife, Dawn (Tumenas) of Chelmsford and Daniel Callahan of Chelmsford, a grandson, Ryan Callahan of Chelmsford, two brothers; Timothy Callahan of Braintree, and Daniel Callahan and his wife, Patricia of Seldon, NY, four sisters; Jean Walsh and her husband, Eugene of Tewksbury, Marie Alves and her husband, John of Beverly, Kathleen Callahan of Charlestown, Debby Forrest and her husband, Gerard of Whitman and many nieces, nephew, cousins and friends.

Marjorie E. (Smith) Collins of Charlestown died on January 16.

She was the beloved wife of Robert D. Collins; devoted mother of William Snow and his wife, Paula of Charlestown and Michael Snow and his wife, Karen of No. Reading; grandmother of William and Brian Snow, Danielle LeClair, Alicia, Maxx and Jake Snow; great grandmother of Lauren, Rhea, Santino, Peyton and Niyla; sister of the late Walter Ford, Ernest and Thomas Lillya and Alfred Smith and aunt of Patty Lynch of Charlestown and Karen Spinali of Burlington.

Funeral arrangements were by the John H. Sawyer Funeral Home, Charlestown. Burial was in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.

Edsel MacDonald

Of Billerica, formerly of Charlestown

Edsel R. MacDonald of Billerica, formerly of Charlestown, died on January14.

A U. S. Army veteran, Paratrooper 101st Airborne Division, he was a member of Teamsters Union Local 25, Boston.

He was the beloved husband for 50 years of Natalie M. (Bornstein); brother of Shirley Foxworth of Charlestown, Jeaneene Lennon of Groveland, the late Brendan B.J. MacDonald and Gail Dehmer and is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were private with arrangements by the Dello Russo Funeral Service of Wilmington. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to the E.N.
