40 Warren St. Plan Changes to Be Aired

The issue of a development at 40 Warren Street was again a topic at the Charlestown Neighborhood Council (CNC) meeting on Tuesday night.

CNC Development Committee Chair Mark Rosenshein told the board that he expects there to be changes to the plans that were approved by the CNC late last year.

“The proposed plan has been modified and will require a new vote,” Rosenshein said.

The modifications came late in December as a result of the neighbors request to change some areas of the project.

If there are changes then the CNC Executive Board has been authorized to either approve or deny the new plan that will be presented at the CNC Development Committee meeting on Jan. 5 before the developer goes to the Boston Zoning Board of Appeal on January 24 .

The Jan. 5 meeting will include discussion of the zoning and architectural design expectations for the project. The meeting will be  at 7 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Upper Hall, on Thursday, January 5.

In other business before the CNC, the following were elected as officers for the coming term:

Thomas Cunha -President
