Ashley Goldman of Charlestown and her partner Ron Garber will be competing in a special competition Oct 17 on the television show Dancing with the Stars. Six couples ages 17 to 21 were chosen from national auditions held this summer to compete in the Battle of the Ballroom. After Monday night’s competition, three couples will go on the final round and compete on the semi-final show Nov. 15. Ashley and Ron are the current US National Youth Latin Ballroom champions and just returned from Prague, Czech Republic where they represented the USA in the World Ballroom Dance Championships. Ashley joins her brother,Tyler who danced on the show last November as one of a few talented youth couples to perform on the #1 dance show in America.
