Grace Daley

Retired Medical Secretary

Grace B. (Brennan) Daley of South Boston, formerly of Somerville and Everett, died at the Marion Manor Nursing Home, South Boston on September 3.  She was 94 years old.

She was born in Worcester and was a longtime resident of Everett before moving to Somerville and later to the Marian Manor. A retired medical secretary, she worked for the New England Deaconess Hospital  ICU for more than 30 years.

Mrs. Daley was the beloved wife of the late William H. Daley, Jr.; dear and devoted mother of William Daley and his late wife, Gina of Derry, NH, Grace Keenan and her husband, John of Everett and the late Bruce Daley and his surviving wife, Patricia of Everett; sister of Lillian Bartlett of Charlestown, Ethel Hudgins of Bedford and the late George and Robert Brennan, Olive Crosby and Julia Brooks; loving grandmother of Kathleen Parker, Kelly Daley, Elaine Rossetti, Shawn Daley and Christopher Keenan and loving great-grandmother of Joey Bova, Jason and TJ Rossetti and James Patrick Keenan.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation on Friday, September 9 in the Immaculate Conception Church, Broadway, Everett from 9 to 10 a.m.  followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m.  Burial will be private.  The Keenan Family would like to extend an invitation to visit with the family at their residence on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory to The Marian Manor, 130 Dorchester St., South Boston, MA 02127, would be sincerely appreciated.

Victor Giglio

Charlestown resident

Victor G. Giglio of Charlestown died on August 30. He was 95 years old.

A U.S. Army veteran of World War II, he was a member of North End Amvets Post 13.

He was the devoted father of Lorraine Nicalosi of Medford, Victor G. Giglio Jr. of Dracut, Janet Reilly-Quinchon of Maine, John Rush of Wakefield and the late Lillian Smith, the loving Grandpa to 22 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; beloved brother of Evelyn Villemarie of Somerville, the late Eva Roberts, Helen Allen, Gabriel, Lawrence, Dante, Arthur, Leonard, Robert and Harold Giglio and he also leaves many nieces and nephews.
