Police Briefs 07-14-2011

07/06/11 – Assault and Battery

Victim on Cambridge Street stated to officers that, as a result of a traffic dispute, he was punched in the face by the driver of a car who felt the victim had cut him off. Officers were provided with a plate number of the suspect vehicle and will investigate.

07/06/11 – Operating Under the Influence

Officers responded to a call for a motor vehicle accident on Parker Street in which the operator of gray Pontiac struck numerous parked vehicles. Suspect attempted to flee scene but was held by neighbors. Police arrived on scene and the suspect was placed under arrest for O.U.I., leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident and operating without a license.

07/05/11 – Breaking and Entering, Non-residence

The foreman of a job site on Alford Street reported to police that someone broke the lock off a trailer, entered and stole a fax/copying machine.

07/07/11 – Warrant Arrest

Officers on Main Street placed an individual under arrest for an outstanding Cambridge District Court warrant.

07/08/11 – Investigate Person

A witness on Harvard Street reported to police that she saw a white male attempt to remove a television from the buildings gym. Suspect fled prior to police arrival.

07/09/11 – Assault and Battery.

Officers responded to Main Street for a report of a fight. Upon arrival, the victims stated that during an altercation with a group of youths they (the victims) were both punched repeatedly by two of the suspects. With the help of witnesses the officers were able to identify two of the suspects. Complaints will be sought for assault and battery.

07/09/11 – Larceny

A victim on Walford Way stated that someone took a motorbike replica motorcycle from the rear of his pick-up truck.
